About Aircraft
The Bf 109W float plane was intended to be a recon aircraft, developed from the F-series. None were ever built but they were designed. It was based on a Bf109F with fixed floats from an Ar196, It was given the designation Bf109W. Its idea was to be a fast recon plane for Germanys Capital ships.
